Membership Fees

Most members may have realized that they have not been billed for their annual DNOA membership dues. The admin. and staff felt it best to wait until the association's recent major changes/upgrades/services had been at least mostly completed, before asking members to renew. This was done to give members the chance to review the changes to DNOA's current services, and its overall direction, before they decided rather or not they wished to renew. It was felt offering members this chance would only be fair in helping them make an informed decision about continuing on as members. For those who decide to stay as members, we will begin regular annual billings at the end of this month. All current memberships will have July as their new annual payment due date. This new date, however, will not effect your original join date. We hope you will decide to stay on as a member as we expand on this organization in our efforts to better the domaining community for all involved.

New membership:
$20.00 a year
Returning membership:
$14.95
Founding Members:
$6.95 per year.

Reformed Committees

One of the most important changes we have made has been the reformation of the Committee structure. Admin evaluated the existing 9 Committees and by combining similar functions and duties revised this to 3 Committees and a new division, Operations & Member Support.
The structure is now:

Title:
Ethics Committee

# Ethics

This committee will be responsible for reviewing CoE complaints.
# Dispute Resolution

# Scam Prevention
Establishing searchable database or forum to report scams, industry wide

Group 2
Title:
Public Relations Committee

# Registrar Relations
Identifying ethical registrars and other domain industry businesses.
DNOA Certification of registrars. Company review section.
# Fundraising
Fundraising events, attracting corporate sponsors.

Group 3
Title:
Member Relations Committee

# Membership
Promotion of DNOA, Increasing membership.
This is self explanatory and can easily absorb education and future chapters.
# Education

Members of DNOA – Informing members of DNOA of changes in the industry, legal issues.
Monthly newsletter.
Group 4 (This is not a committee)
